New Years Eve

Junky, chunky
Fattening filling.
Noisy sparks of various hues.
Silly feet tapping out nonsense
gatherings of drunk and
not.
Mistakes are forgotten;
Pick yourself up and try again.

Perfection

So much depends

upon

Brown eyes looking

into blue

Wrapped in his

quiet arms

Knowing everything

is perfect.

I caper and strut,
Spinning blurs of color.

Freshness tastes like dessert.

Bipolar Skittles

Sunshine yellow,
Merry fellow.
I taste like liquid lemon drops.
Warming the skin with gentle strokes,
Creating joy like froth on the lips.

Shimmer, shimmer
Poisoned splash.

I am purple
The sweetest of deadly poison.
Your tongue begs for more,
Prays for the sickly sweet taste
That coats it.
Too bad that sweetness is death.
